The  Local Development Corporation of  Laurelton, Rosedale and Springfield Gardens (LDC of LRS)  is a non for profit community organization that works in partnership with public agencies, private corporations and  community organizations whose scope is in line with the mission of the LDC.

We are composed of a Board of committed Officers, Directors, and Members comprised respectively of veteran Merrick Boulevard, Francis Lewis Boulevard, Springfield Boulevard, 243rd Street business owners and concerned community residents.  Since inception, the LDC of LRS has developed a master plan for area improvement.

Through economic development and partnerships with State and Local entities incentives have been made available for start up businesses, , minority women-owned business (M/WBE) and anyone who wants to expand or improve their space.  Support services are always available should you need help marketing your business. 

Composed of a team of committed Board Executors, Officers and Members, veteran business owners from Merrick to Springfield Boulevards and as far away as our 243rd Street corridor the LDC  remains committed to bringing new business and diversity while promoting economic growth and vitality for its preservation and development.
